National Certificate in Recreation and Sport - Aquatics (Swim Education) Level 3

 

This qualification will take up to 8 months to complete.

 

This qualification has been designed for swim instructors and reflects industry's desire for a consistent national standard to ensure safe and effective delivery of swim education.

 

You will learn about:

  • How to manage a swim teaching environment

  • Developing water confidence in non-swimmers

  • Teaching water propulsion techniques and swimming strokes

  • Developing water safety and survival skills

  • Demonstrating professional behaviour

  • Communicating effectively

  • Supervising customers

  • Managing hazards and risks.
