The Fitness RCC process - basic outline
Answer the following questions:
a. Do you have industry experience or hold a relevant fitness qualification?
b. Are you currently employed/self-employed/contracted in the fitness industry?
If you can answer YES to BOTH questions, complete the application form and resume, and send it to a RCC assessor (see below, but listed on the application form)
The assessor will contact you to talk through your application
If your application is approved by the RCC assessor, our local Learning Support Advisor (LSA), will contact you to sort the paperwork etc.
You will then receive a RCC workbook which you complete to demonstrate your skills and knowledge
Your LSA will check in with you on a regular basis to see how you are doing
Once you have finised your workbook, the assessor will review it and may contact you to ask for further information
Once satisfied, the assessor will advise Skills Active that you meet the requirements of the qualification you have applied for
Skills Active will issue your National Certificate and report this to the NZQA.
