Who is this qualification for?
This qualification is for people who work in a snowsport equipment workshop without supervision. Holders of the Workshop Technician strand have demonstrated competence in the advance repair of skis and/or snowboards. Holders of the Bootfitting strand have demonstrated competence in the selection, fitting and adapting of boots for skiers and or snowboarders.
This qualification will take 10-11 months to complete.
You will complete on-job tasks and a self-paced assessment that demonstrates your ability to:
maintain and repair skis, snowboards and assessories, and a wide-range of snowsport equipment
correctly use, service and care of tools and machines you use in the workshop.
