Qualification approved for listing on the NZQF

 

In February 2016 NZQA approved the New Zealand Certificate in Alpine Resort Operations
(Level 3)
 qualification for listing on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF).

Stage 2 consultation


Consultation on the proposed NZ Certificate in Alpine Resort Operations (Level 3) qualification was held 19 August to 2 September 2015.

 

This qualification is designed for those who provide visitor and user experiences within New Zealad alpine resort areas. This qualification may also form the basis of induction programmes offered within alpine resort workplaces.

Unit Standards

 

Consultation on a set of four draft Alpine Resort Operations (Level 3) Unit Standards was held in February 2016.  These Unit Standards were developed to form the basis of a workplace programme leading to the Alpine Resort Operations qualification.  

 

The four Unit Standards have now been approved by NZQA for listing on the Directory of Assessment Standards (DAS).

Demonstrate knowledge of safe working procedures and practices in an alpine resort operation (5 credits)

Demonstrate knowledge of the features and operations of an alpine resort (5 credits)
