Skills Active Learning Support Advisors (LSAs) are based throughout New Zealand. They are the connecting point between the trainee, assessor, workplace and Skills Active.
Those who want to become an assessor will connect with an LSA, who will guide them through the process to become registered. Once an assessor is registered, the LSA is their go-to person for any queries related to Skills Active. They know our industries, and on-job training and assessment processes inside out, and they would love to help you out.

Whether you are a workplace or roving assessor, the workplace of your trainee(s) will be there to support you and the trainee throughout the assessment process.
Senior assessor mentors use their experience to support and guide assessors. Part of their role is to approve the registration of new (trainee) assessors, and provide support and mentoring to new assessors.
If you have any questions or need advice about anything related to assessment or moderation, get in touch with our moderation and assessor support person! They are there to support assessors, so don't be shy about getting in touch.
We offer a range of support systems, tools and resources for our assessors and their trainees.
