Coming out of this qualification, exercise professionals will have the skills and knowledge required for individual exercise prescription across a variety of exercise environments.
Designing advanced exercise programmes to the industry standard

Integrating health and wellness factors into an extended exercise programme
Analysing and selecting from a range of advanced exercise options
Design programmes for people in varying conditions of health
Developing networks with other allied professionals.
Building on the New Zealand Certificate in Exercise (Level 4), this qualification provides a pathway to higher level qualifications in exercise.
On-job training costs workplaces both time and resources. It can mean covering registration fees, learning and assessment resources, allocating time for training, and having an appropriate assessment pathway available.
Total costs for trainees will vary depending on how the qualification is delivered, how it is assessed and how much support the workplace can provide.
