Who is this qualification for?   

This qualification is designed for people working in a wide range of office administration and business roles in sport, recreation or performing arts.

Business and administration professionals are sharp, detail-oriented and great at planning ahead. They use organisational knowledge and skills, gained within their workplace, to deliver top-notch support to the business.

This qualification will be delivered in a workplace within the sport and recreation industry, and assessments will be completed online.

Graduates of this qualification will be equipped to produce and manage business documents and data, and carry out a range of critical tasks for the smooth functioning of the business.

What's involved?

This 60-credit qualification covers:

Planning for your success. This task is not assessed, but is vital in setting you to successfully achieve this qualification

Planning and producing three separate business documents

Data processing to produce business information

Providing administrative support, including: mail processing, records management, visitor management, maintenance of office supplies and/or equipment, meeting arrangements and support, reproduction of business documents, routine financial calculations.

This qualification is designed to be completed in up to 8 months.

The programme is made up of the following unit standards:

Unit standard 29024 Provide business administration support using business technology L3 15 credits
Unit standard 29025 Obtain, communicate, and reproduce business information using business technology L3 15 credits
Unit standard 29026 Process data to produce information for business purposes L3 15 credits
Unit standard 29027 Produce business documents using software applications L3 15 credits
